MODULE SUMMARY

Success is not easy or arrived at quickly

MODULE ONE - First steps toward Awareness and developing a necessary Mind-Set

Action Plan:

  1. Become aware of the way you are talking to yourself.

  2. Remove all, I am … statements that are negative. Your faults, mistakes, and failures, they are NOT you. They happened to you; they are NOT you.

  3. Add I am…, I will…, and I can… statements that you want to become true and real. These statements are your positive desires that you overtly want to incorporate within yourself. These are what YOU want to become!

  4. This will take time and constant attention. When something occurs that makes you discouraged, be it a mistake, an embarrassment, or failure. Realize it is an opportunity for growth and is not a measure of who you are. It is only an event, totally separate from the being you are. It happened to you – it does not define you. This is a very important distinction. Every disappointment is nothing more than feedback for you to grasp an opportunity to learn and get better. You will eventually see them as encouragements in disguise, leading to improvement.

MODULE TWO – Elements of Self-Talk

  1. Action Plan:

  2. Become aware that you do fear and understanding the difference between Real or Imagined Fear.

  3. Identify the elements in Self-Talk that conjure doubt and fear. Start to talk to yourself, directing your thoughts to the “now” and future desires.

  4. Move toward your fears. Face them, in doing this you recognize that most are only imagined.

  5. nderstand Protective Mode from Growth Mode. Being comfortable in quiet, is a good start.

MODULE THREE – World

Action Plan:

  1. Understand the meaning of “The World.”

  2. State how you give Dignity to yourself? Journal entries that work for or against dignity.

  3. How does evil and good direct your view of yourself and others?

  4. What is your condition of the “Now?” Future oriented or is it coming only from the past?

  5. Are you maintaining a Growth Mode?

MODULE FOUR - Education

Action Plan:

  1. Where does self-judgement come from?

  2. List the elements in our education system that contribute to your self-doubt or judgement?

  3. This list ought to point to elements that prevent you from “engaging.”

  4. What does “engagement” mean to you?

MODULE FIVE – Unlearning

Action Plan:

  1. What interferes with “Unlearning” in your field?

  2. List one things that you are sure of, then prove to yourself that it is true. Looking deeper into your proof.

  3. List a few areas that you can identify as not certain, therefore needing to be explored more thoroughly.

  4. Does your personal culture incorporate checking your thinking?

MODULE SIX – SABOTAGE

Action Plan:

  1. As in Module One, record times that your thinking is obstruction your forward growth.

  2. Understand the difference between External and Internal motivation.

  3. Record the areas where you find fulfillment through your struggles. Are they from External sources or Internal?

  4. Journal these events for monitoring your progress.

  5. Do you have a fear of success?
